    yeah i don't know what to make of it... surely it can't be very practical. It's strange what people spend their money on.

    I was talking to a friend of mine who recently got a contract for a $350 000 lighting job in some guys mansion. When you walk into the house there are floor lights and ceiling lights that turn on as you walk around, so everywhere you go you're lit up.

    Now, i gotta say, what kind of ego would you have to have to want to be in the spotlight in your own home [img]graemlins/sure.gif[/img]

    I saw it on TV about 6 or 7 years ago. It's full of quirks - the whole breakfast area swings out to become a patio, for example. Apparently the architect didn't want any straight walls inside, hence the unusual shape. He also wanted a "hobbit-hole" kind of feel. I like it, apart from the colour [img]graemlins/gulp.gif[/img]
